Montessori Preschool
TODDLERS

12 Months** to 3 Years Old

A Montessori Preschool in Miami Florida! Our toddler program offers children and families a collaborative beginning in the Montessori experience. Each toddler classroom helps to bridge the child’s transition from home to school. Children are provided with an opportunity to explore new relationships with friends and to interact with adults in a loving and nurturing environment.

Toddlers will be introduced to age-appropriate Montessori materials and encourage to make choices from a great variety of activities that support their developmental interests and needs. The toddler’s strong sense of independence is encouraged and self esteem is enhanced through social and learning experiences. Toddlers enjoy movement and music within the classroom curriculum. The outdoor play is a crucial part of the daily routine. At IMA we encourage hands on learning which allows children to learn with more understanding.

** At our Montessori academy, we welcome children starting at the age of 12 months, provided they have reached the developmental milestone of walking independently.
